Prayer Times in Lanquín, Guatemala

About the times on this page

There is no national timetable behind this page — Lanquín's times come from Lanquín's own position, 15.58° N, 89.98° W. The difference between one town and the next is only minutes, but those minutes are the whole of Fajr and Maghrib.

What changes between summer and winter

The seasons show here without dominating. Summer in Lanquín brings earlier Fajr times and a later Isha; winter pulls everything inward, and Maghrib can arrive while the afternoon still feels unfinished. Expect an hour or two of movement between the extremes.

The last third of the night

Between Isha at 7:02 pm and Fajr at 4:41 am there are about 9 hours and 39 minutes. If you pray tahajjud, the final third of that stretch is the one to aim for; counting backwards from Fajr is the easier way to locate it.

Finding the qibla

Face north-east — roughly 54° on a compass — and you are pointed at the Kaaba. Makkah is around 13,168 kilometres (8,182 miles) away in a straight line.

Why your mosque may differ slightly

The calculation used here is Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. Dhuhr, Asr and Maghrib are largely settled across methods; Fajr and Isha are where authorities part company. For Asr this page uses the Hanafi position — later in the day than the majority view. A small gap between this page and your nearest masjid is nothing to worry about; go with theirs.

The fasting day in Lanquín

Suhoor ends at Fajr — 4:41 am today — and the fast breaks at Maghrib, 5:32 pm. Around 12 hours and 51 minutes without food or water today. Scroll to the month view to see how the length changes as Ramadan progresses.

Today's timetable

It starts in the dark, with Fajr at 4:41 am. Sunrise at 5:55 am closes that window. Next is Dhuhr at 11:44 am, then Asr in the afternoon at 3:55 pm. Sunset brings Maghrib at 5:32 pm; Isha is the last, at 7:02 pm. That is some 11 hours and 37 minutes between the sun coming up and going down.
