Prayer Times in Zemrane, Morocco

About the times on this page

From Zemrane, the qibla points east — a bearing of about 92° on a compass. That is roughly 4,807 kilometres in a straight line. The times themselves are worked out from the city's exact position.

The yearly swing

The seasons show here without dominating. Summer in Zemrane brings earlier Fajr times and a later Isha; winter pulls everything inward, and Maghrib can arrive while the afternoon still feels unfinished. Expect an hour or two of movement between the extremes.

Elsewhere in Morocco

6 other cities in Morocco are listed on this site, each with its own calculated timetable. It is worth switching to the right one when you travel — a few hundred kilometres east or west moves Fajr and Maghrib by a noticeable margin.

Isha to Fajr

From Isha to Fajr is around 10 hours and 9 minutes at the moment. For anyone praying tahajjud, the last third of that period is the part traditionally singled out — work back from Fajr rather than forward from Isha to find it.

From Fajr to Isha

The first call comes at 5:21 am, for Fajr. The sun appears at 6:45 am, which ends the Fajr period. Dhuhr 12:14 pm, Asr 4:04 pm — the two that carry the middle of the day. Maghrib is prayed at 5:42 pm as the light goes, then Isha at 7:12 pm. Sunrise to sunset, today runs about 10 hours and 57 minutes.

The calculation behind them

These times follow Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. The disagreement between methods lives almost entirely in Fajr and Isha, where the sun is below the horizon and the chosen angle decides the time. Asr is Hanafi on this page, so expect it later than a Shafi timetable would show. If the mosque down the road announces something a few minutes different, pray with the mosque.

If you are fasting

Stop eating by 5:21 am; break the fast at 5:42 pm. That is about 12 hours and 21 minutes on today's times. The monthly table further down shows the window widening or narrowing day by day, which helps when planning meals a week ahead.
