Prayer Times in Tizimín, Mexico

Prayer times in Tizimín

There is no national timetable behind this page — Tizimín's times come from Tizimín's own position, 21.14° N, 88.15° W. It is a small distinction that matters in practice: the sun does not arrive everywhere in a country at once.

Season by season in Tizimín

The seasons show here without dominating. Summer in Tizimín brings earlier Fajr times and a later Isha; winter pulls everything inward, and Maghrib can arrive while the afternoon still feels unfinished. Expect an hour or two of movement between the extremes.

The direction of prayer

Turn north-east, about 53°, for the qibla. The distance works out to about 12,647 kilometres, or 7,859 miles.

The calculation behind them

The calculation used here is Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. The disagreement between methods lives almost entirely in Fajr and Isha, where the sun is below the horizon and the chosen angle decides the time. Asr is Hanafi on this page, so expect it later than a Shafi timetable would show. If the mosque down the road announces something a few minutes different, pray with the mosque.

Isha to Fajr

From Isha to Fajr is around 9 hours and 49 minutes at the moment. If you pray tahajjud, the final third of that stretch is the one to aim for; counting backwards from Fajr is the easier way to locate it.
