Prayer Times in Łęczyca, Poland

Łęczyca, hour by hour

Everything on this page is calculated for Łęczyca, Poland specifically, using the position 52.06° N, 19.20° E. The difference between one town and the next is only minutes, but those minutes are the whole of Fajr and Maghrib.

Ramadan timings

Suhoor ends at Fajr — 4:37 am today — and the fast breaks at Maghrib, 4:18 pm. Around 11 hours and 41 minutes without food or water today. The full month is listed below if you want to see where the fast is heading.

Through the year

Łęczyca is far enough north that calculated Fajr and Isha times become unreliable around midsummer, when twilight lasts all night. Most communities this far up adopt a local ruling for those weeks; ask at your mosque. Outside that stretch, the ordinary calculation applies.

Isha to Fajr

Between Isha at 5:48 pm and Fajr at 4:37 am there are about 10 hours and 49 minutes. For anyone praying tahajjud, the last third of that period is the part traditionally singled out — work back from Fajr rather than forward from Isha to find it.

Today's timetable

Everything begins with Fajr, 4:37 am today. By 6:34 am the sun is up and Fajr's time has passed. Midday brings Dhuhr at 11:27 am; Asr comes round at 2:29 pm. Sunset brings Maghrib at 4:18 pm; Isha is the last, at 5:48 pm. That is some 9 hours and 44 minutes between the sun coming up and going down.

Lining up with the Kaaba

Face south-east — roughly 145° on a compass — and you are pointed at the Kaaba. Makkah is around 3,841 kilometres (2,386 miles) away in a straight line.

Where these times come from

Calculations come from Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. Dhuhr, Asr and Maghrib are largely settled across methods; Fajr and Isha are where authorities part company. Asr is Hanafi on this page, so expect it later than a Shafi timetable would show. A small gap between this page and your nearest masjid is nothing to worry about; go with theirs.

The clock against the sun

Solar noon in Łęczyca falls about 33 minutes before twelve o'clock. It explains the 11:27 am Dhuhr — the timezone boundary is drawn some way from this city's own meridian. It is not an error — timezones are drawn for administrative convenience, not astronomical accuracy.
