Prayer Times in Asthal Bohar, India

The prayer day in Asthal Bohar

Today runs to roughly 11 hours and 4 minutes of daylight in Asthal Bohar, from sunrise at 6:35 am to sunset at 5:39 pm. None of the five are fixed to the clock — they follow the sun, and the sun keeps different hours in every month.

The shape of the day

It starts in the dark, with Fajr at 5:13 am. You have until 6:35 am, when the sun comes up. Midday brings Dhuhr at 12:07 pm; Asr comes round at 4:02 pm. Sunset brings Maghrib at 5:39 pm; Isha is the last, at 7:09 pm. That is some 11 hours and 4 minutes between the sun coming up and going down.

Where these times come from

Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah is the standard applied to this page. Dhuhr, Asr and Maghrib are largely settled across methods; Fajr and Isha are where authorities part company. Asr is Hanafi on this page, so expect it later than a Shafi timetable would show. A small gap between this page and your nearest masjid is nothing to worry about; go with theirs.

The fasting day in Asthal Bohar

Suhoor ends at Fajr — 5:13 am today — and the fast breaks at Maghrib, 5:39 pm. Around 12 hours and 26 minutes without food or water today. The monthly table further down shows the window widening or narrowing day by day, which helps when planning meals a week ahead.

What changes between summer and winter

Across the year the Asthal Bohar timetable shifts by an hour or two at each end — long summer evenings push Isha back, short winter days crowd Dhuhr, Asr and Maghrib together.

Nearby cities

There are 135 more India cities here, and each has its own times rather than sharing Asthal Bohar's. It is worth switching to the right one when you travel — a few hundred kilometres east or west moves Fajr and Maghrib by a noticeable margin.

Finding the qibla

Face west — roughly 266° on a compass — and you are pointed at the Kaaba. Makkah is around 3,781 kilometres (2,350 miles) away in a straight line. Compass apps usually read magnetic north rather than true north, so allow a few degrees of local declination if you are setting a prayer mat precisely.
