Prayer Times in Nagla, India

Prayer times in Nagla

Fajr 5:00 am, Maghrib 5:29 pm, Isha 6:59 pm — that is the shape of today in Nagla. They are not fixed — the sun moves them a little every day, and the page keeps up on its own.

What changes between summer and winter

The seasons show here without dominating. Summer in Nagla brings earlier Fajr times and a later Isha; winter pulls everything inward, and Maghrib can arrive while the afternoon still feels unfinished. Expect an hour or two of movement between the extremes.

Fasting hours

Stop eating by 5:00 am; break the fast at 5:29 pm. That is about 12 hours and 29 minutes on today's times. The monthly table further down shows the window widening or narrowing day by day, which helps when planning meals a week ahead.

Turn west, about 267°, for the qibla. Makkah is around 4,061 kilometres (2,523 miles) away in a straight line.

How the times are worked out

The calculation used here is Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. The disagreement between methods lives almost entirely in Fajr and Isha, where the sun is below the horizon and the chosen angle decides the time. For Asr this page uses the Hanafi position — later in the day than the majority view. If the mosque down the road announces something a few minutes different, pray with the mosque.

Elsewhere in India

India has 135 other cities covered on this site. It is worth switching to the right one when you travel — a few hundred kilometres east or west moves Fajr and Maghrib by a noticeable margin.

Today's timetable

The first call comes at 5:00 am, for Fajr. Sunrise at 6:22 am closes that window. After the sun peaks, Dhuhr is prayed at 11:56 am, and Asr at 3:52 pm. Maghrib is prayed at 5:29 pm as the light goes, then Isha at 6:59 pm. Sunrise to sunset, today runs about 11 hours and 7 minutes.
