Prayer Times in Tubay, Philippines

Tubay, hour by hour

Today runs to roughly 11 hours and 49 minutes of daylight in Tubay, from sunrise at 5:27 am to sunset at 5:16 pm. That number is the one driving the whole timetable: lengthen the day and Isha moves back, shorten it and the afternoon prayers crowd together.

How much the times move

Near the equator the timetable is remarkably stable. Tubay sees close to twelve hours of daylight in every month, so Fajr and Maghrib move by minutes rather than hours across the year.

The fasting day in Tubay

Stop eating by 4:14 am; break the fast at 5:16 pm. That is about 13 hours and 2 minutes on today's times. The monthly table further down shows the window widening or narrowing day by day, which helps when planning meals a week ahead.

Method and madhab

The underlying method is Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. The disagreement between methods lives almost entirely in Fajr and Isha, where the sun is below the horizon and the chosen angle decides the time. For Asr this page uses the Hanafi position — later in the day than the majority view. If the mosque down the road announces something a few minutes different, pray with the mosque.

Clock time and solar time

The sun reaches its high point roughly 38 minutes before noon here. Hence Dhuhr at 11:22 am, with the rest of the afternoon following along behind it. It is not an error — timezones are drawn for administrative convenience, not astronomical accuracy.

Today's timetable

It starts in the dark, with Fajr at 4:14 am. Sunrise at 5:27 am closes that window. Dhuhr 11:22 am, Asr 3:38 pm — the two that carry the middle of the day. Maghrib is prayed at 5:16 pm as the light goes, then Isha at 6:46 pm. Sunrise to sunset, today runs about 11 hours and 49 minutes.

Lining up with the Kaaba

Turn west-north-west, about 291°, for the qibla. That puts the Kaaba roughly 9,195 km — 5,714 miles — from here.
