Prayer times in Bagnolet

Season by season in Bagnolet

At this latitude, midsummer creates a real difficulty: the sky never fully darkens, so there is no moment when the sun sits far enough below the horizon to give a clear Fajr or Isha. Communities in places like Bagnolet generally follow a local ruling through those weeks — the nearest large mosque or Islamic centre will have guidance. The rest of the year the calculated times work as normal.

The clock against the sun

Solar noon in Bagnolet falls about 34 minutes after twelve o'clock. It explains the 12:34 pm Dhuhr — the timezone boundary is drawn some way from this city's own meridian. Nothing is wrong with the calculation; timezones are political lines, and the sun does not consult them.

How the day runs in Bagnolet

Everything begins with Fajr, 5:43 am today. By 7:32 am the sun is up and Fajr's time has passed. After the sun peaks, Dhuhr is prayed at 12:34 pm, and Asr at 3:49 pm. Maghrib is prayed at 5:35 pm as the light goes, then Isha at 7:05 pm. Sunrise to sunset, today runs about 10 hours and 3 minutes.

The calculation behind them

Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah is the standard applied to this page. The disagreement between methods lives almost entirely in Fajr and Isha, where the sun is below the horizon and the chosen angle decides the time. Asr is Hanafi on this page, so expect it later than a Shafi timetable would show. If the mosque down the road announces something a few minutes different, pray with the mosque.

Suhoor and iftar in Bagnolet

Stop eating by 5:43 am; break the fast at 5:35 pm. That is about 11 hours and 52 minutes on today's times. The full month is listed below if you want to see where the fast is heading.

Isha to Fajr

Between Isha at 7:05 pm and Fajr at 5:43 am there are about 10 hours and 38 minutes. If you pray tahajjud, the final third of that stretch is the one to aim for; counting backwards from Fajr is the easier way to locate it.
