Prayer Times in Crespellano, Italy

The prayer day in Crespellano

Between the last prayer of one day and the first of the next, Crespellano gets roughly 10 hours and 31 minutes of darkness. The whole timetable below follows the same movement — as the nights lengthen, every time on the page moves with them.

Method and madhab

These times follow Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. The disagreement between methods lives almost entirely in Fajr and Isha, where the sun is below the horizon and the chosen angle decides the time. Asr is Hanafi on this page, so expect it later than a Shafi timetable would show. If the mosque down the road announces something a few minutes different, pray with the mosque.

Lining up with the Kaaba

Turn south-east, about 125°, for the qibla. The distance works out to about 3,673 kilometres, or 2,282 miles.

Through the year

The yearly swing here is substantial. In June, Fajr in Crespellano can fall in the small hours with Isha holding off until late evening; in December the whole day from Fajr to Isha is over in a short span. Check the monthly timetable rather than assuming last season's times still hold.

Isha to Fajr

From Isha to Fajr is around 10 hours and 31 minutes at the moment. The final third of the night carries particular weight in the tradition, and it is measured from Isha to Fajr rather than by the clock.

A walk through today's times

It starts in the dark, with Fajr at 5:09 am. The sun appears at 6:50 am, which ends the Fajr period. After the sun peaks, Dhuhr is prayed at 11:59 am, and Asr at 3:25 pm. Maghrib is prayed at 5:08 pm as the light goes, then Isha at 6:38 pm. Sunrise to sunset, today runs about 10 hours and 18 minutes.

Fasting hours

Stop eating by 5:09 am; break the fast at 5:08 pm. That is about 11 hours and 59 minutes on today's times. The monthly table further down shows the window widening or narrowing day by day, which helps when planning meals a week ahead.
