Prayer Times in San Prisco, Italy

The prayer day in San Prisco

Between the last prayer of one day and the first of the next, San Prisco gets roughly 10 hours and 23 minutes of darkness. The whole timetable below follows the same movement — as the nights lengthen, every time on the page moves with them.

How much the times move

Summer and winter look like different timetables entirely in San Prisco. The times can shift by several hours between the two ends of the year.

Qibla from San Prisco

Turn south-east, about 125°, for the qibla. The distance works out to about 3,246 kilometres, or 2,017 miles. Worth remembering that a phone compass points to magnetic north, which can sit several degrees off true north depending on where you are.

Why your mosque may differ slightly

The underlying method is Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. The disagreement between methods lives almost entirely in Fajr and Isha, where the sun is below the horizon and the chosen angle decides the time. Asr is Hanafi on this page, so expect it later than a Shafi timetable would show. If the mosque down the road announces something a few minutes different, pray with the mosque.

The shape of the day

It starts in the dark, with Fajr at 4:55 am. By 6:30 am the sun is up and Fajr's time has passed. Dhuhr follows at 11:47 am once the sun has tipped past its highest point, and Asr at 3:21 pm. Maghrib is prayed at 5:02 pm as the light goes, then Isha at 6:32 pm. Sunrise to sunset, today runs about 10 hours and 32 minutes.

Fasting hours

Stop eating by 4:55 am; break the fast at 5:02 pm. That is about 12 hours and 7 minutes on today's times. Scroll to the month view to see how the length changes as Ramadan progresses.
