Prayer Times in Milan, Italy

Milan prayer times explained

Milan currently has about 10 hours and 36 minutes of night, from Isha at 6:42 pm through to Fajr at 5:18 am. The whole timetable below follows the same movement — as the nights lengthen, every time on the page moves with them.

Fasting hours

Suhoor ends at Fajr — 5:18 am today — and the fast breaks at Maghrib, 5:12 pm. Around 11 hours and 54 minutes without food or water today. The full month is listed below if you want to see where the fast is heading.

How much the times move

Summer and winter look like different timetables entirely in Milan. The times can shift by several hours between the two ends of the year.

A walk through today's times

It starts in the dark, with Fajr at 5:18 am. You have until 7:01 am, when the sun comes up. After the sun peaks, Dhuhr is prayed at 12:07 pm, and Asr at 3:28 pm. Sunset brings Maghrib at 5:12 pm; Isha is the last, at 6:42 pm. That is some 10 hours and 11 minutes between the sun coming up and going down.

A note on the method used

Calculations come from Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. Dhuhr, Asr and Maghrib are largely settled across methods; Fajr and Isha are where authorities part company. Asr is Hanafi on this page, so expect it later than a Shafi timetable would show. A small gap between this page and your nearest masjid is nothing to worry about; go with theirs.

Finding the qibla

Face east-south-east — roughly 124° on a compass — and you are pointed at the Kaaba. That puts the Kaaba roughly 3,859 km — 2,398 miles — from here.
