Prayer Times in Ankazomiriotra, Madagascar

About the times on this page

Ankazomiriotra currently has about 8 hours and 22 minutes of night, from Isha at 7:32 pm through to Fajr at 3:54 am. That span is what the last third of the night is measured against, so it shifts along with the rest of the timetable through the year.

Fasting hours

Suhoor ends at Fajr — 3:54 am today — and the fast breaks at Maghrib, 6:02 pm. Around 14 hours and 8 minutes without food or water today. The monthly table further down shows the window widening or narrowing day by day, which helps when planning meals a week ahead.

How the times are worked out

The calculation used here is Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. Dhuhr, Asr and Maghrib are largely settled across methods; Fajr and Isha are where authorities part company. Asr here follows the Hanafi reckoning, which places it noticeably later in the afternoon than the other schools would. A small gap between this page and your nearest masjid is nothing to worry about; go with theirs.

What changes between summer and winter

The seasons show here without dominating. Summer in Ankazomiriotra brings earlier Fajr times and a later Isha; winter pulls everything inward, and Maghrib can arrive while the afternoon still feels unfinished. Expect an hour or two of movement between the extremes.

Sunset brings Maghrib at 6:02 pm; Isha is the last, at 7:32 pm. That is some 12 hours and 49 minutes between the sun coming up and going down.
