Prayer Times in Bezaha, Madagascar

About the times on this page

The night in Bezaha runs about 8 hours and 12 minutes at the moment — Isha at 7:44 pm to Fajr at 3:56 am. The whole timetable below follows the same movement — as the nights lengthen, every time on the page moves with them.

The last third of the night

Bezaha gets roughly 8 hours and 12 minutes of night between the last prayer and the first. The final third of the night carries particular weight in the tradition, and it is measured from Isha to Fajr rather than by the clock.

From Fajr to Isha

Everything begins with Fajr, 3:56 am today. Sunrise at 5:18 am closes that window. Dhuhr follows at 11:46 am once the sun has tipped past its highest point, and Asr at 4:20 pm. Sunset brings Maghrib at 6:14 pm; Isha is the last, at 7:44 pm. That is some 12 hours and 56 minutes between the sun coming up and going down.

What changes between summer and winter

Bezaha sits far enough from the equator for the difference to be felt. Midsummer stretches the day, midwinter compresses it, and the prayer times follow.

The fasting day in Bezaha

Suhoor ends at Fajr — 3:56 am today — and the fast breaks at Maghrib, 6:14 pm. Around 14 hours and 18 minutes without food or water today. The monthly table further down shows the window widening or narrowing day by day, which helps when planning meals a week ahead.

Finding the qibla

Face north — roughly 354° on a compass — and you are pointed at the Kaaba. That puts the Kaaba roughly 5,021 km — 3,120 miles — from here.

A note on the method used

These times follow Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. Dhuhr, Asr and Maghrib are largely settled across methods; Fajr and Isha are where authorities part company. Asr is Hanafi on this page, so expect it later than a Shafi timetable would show. A small gap between this page and your nearest masjid is nothing to worry about; go with theirs.
