Prayer Times in Bozhou, China

What these times mean for Bozhou

As things stand today, the first prayer in Bozhou is at 5:08 am and the last at 6:56 pm. Those times shift by a minute or two most days as the sun moves, and this page recalculates them every morning rather than holding a fixed list.

How much the times move

Bozhou sits far enough from the equator for the difference to be felt. Midsummer stretches the day, midwinter compresses it, and the prayer times follow.

From Fajr to Isha

Fajr is at 5:08 am — early, and in darkness. Sunrise at 6:35 am closes that window. After the sun peaks, Dhuhr is prayed at 12:01 pm, and Asr at 3:48 pm. The sun goes down at Maghrib, 5:26 pm, and the day ends with Isha at 6:56 pm. That gives Bozhou roughly 10 hours and 51 minutes of daylight today.

The fasting day in Bozhou

Suhoor closes at 5:08 am in Bozhou, with iftar at 5:26 pm. Roughly 12 hours and 18 minutes, going by today's figures. The full month is listed below if you want to see where the fast is heading.

Method and madhab

These times follow Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. Methods differ mainly over Fajr and Isha, because each authority settles on a slightly different angle of the sun below the horizon — a few minutes either way is normal. Asr is Hanafi on this page, so expect it later than a Shafi timetable would show. Where your local mosque differs, follow the mosque — that is the timetable the congregation keeps.

Lining up with the Kaaba

From this city the direction is west, or 281° if you prefer the number. Makkah is around 7,447 kilometres (4,627 miles) away in a straight line. If you are marking a permanent direction in a room, check true north rather than trusting a phone compass alone.
