Prayer Times in Changde, China

Prayer times in Changde

The night in Changde runs about 10 hours and 3 minutes at the moment — Isha at 7:19 pm to Fajr at 5:22 am. That span is what the last third of the night is measured against, so it shifts along with the rest of the timetable through the year.

The calculation behind them

Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah is the standard applied to this page. Where two calculations disagree it is nearly always Fajr or Isha: those depend on twilight, and twilight is a judgement call. For Asr this page uses the Hanafi position — later in the day than the majority view. Local practice wins over any website, this one included.

Changde today, prayer by prayer

Fajr is at 5:22 am — early, and in darkness. The sun appears at 6:44 am, which ends the Fajr period. Dhuhr 12:17 pm, Asr 4:13 pm — the two that carry the middle of the day. Maghrib comes with sunset at 5:49 pm, and Isha closes the day at 7:19 pm. Around 11 hours and 5 minutes of daylight, all told.

Fasting hours

The fasting day here runs 5:22 am to 5:49 pm: suhoor closes at the first, iftar comes at the second. Today it works out to some 12 hours and 27 minutes. Scroll to the month view to see how the length changes as Ramadan progresses.

What changes between summer and winter

The seasons show here without dominating. Summer in Changde brings earlier Fajr times and a later Isha; winter pulls everything inward, and Maghrib can arrive while the afternoon still feels unfinished. Expect an hour or two of movement between the extremes.
