Prayer Times in Lianshan, China

Lianshan, hour by hour

Anyone praying in Lianshan faces west, which works out to around 281°. Makkah lies some 7,740 kilometres away, and the times on this page are calculated for this city specifically rather than for the country as a whole.

For tahajjud

From Isha to Fajr is around 10 hours and 23 minutes at the moment. If you pray tahajjud, the final third of that stretch is the one to aim for; counting backwards from Fajr is the easier way to locate it.

How much the times move

Summer and winter look like different timetables entirely in Lianshan. The times can shift by several hours between the two ends of the year.

Ramadan timings

Stop eating by 4:49 am; break the fast at 4:56 pm. That is about 12 hours and 7 minutes on today's times. Scroll to the month view to see how the length changes as Ramadan progresses.

Other China timetables

China has 180 other cities covered on this site. If you are travelling within the country, use the page for where you actually are; the difference is small but real.

Method and madhab

These times follow Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. The disagreement between methods lives almost entirely in Fajr and Isha, where the sun is below the horizon and the chosen angle decides the time. Asr here follows the Hanafi reckoning, which places it noticeably later in the afternoon than the other schools would. If the mosque down the road announces something a few minutes different, pray with the mosque.

A walk through today's times

Everything begins with Fajr, 4:49 am today. By 6:24 am the sun is up and Fajr's time has passed. Next is Dhuhr at 11:40 am, then Asr in the afternoon at 3:15 pm. Maghrib is prayed at 4:56 pm as the light goes, then Isha at 6:26 pm. Sunrise to sunset, today runs about 10 hours and 32 minutes.
