Prayer Times in Linyi, China

What these times mean for Linyi

The night in Linyi runs about 10 hours and 13 minutes at the moment — Isha at 6:45 pm to Fajr at 4:58 am. That span is what the last third of the night is measured against, so it shifts along with the rest of the timetable through the year.

Through the year

Linyi sees a large seasonal spread — very early summer Fajr times, a very late Isha, then a tightly packed winter day. The month view below is the reliable way to keep track.

Ramadan timings

Stop eating by 4:58 am; break the fast at 5:15 pm. That is about 12 hours and 17 minutes on today's times. The monthly table further down shows the window widening or narrowing day by day, which helps when planning meals a week ahead.

Lining up with the Kaaba

Turn west-north-west, about 282°, for the qibla. Makkah is around 7,651 kilometres (4,754 miles) away in a straight line. If you are marking a permanent direction in a room, check true north rather than trusting a phone compass alone.

Today's timetable

It starts in the dark, with Fajr at 4:58 am. The sun appears at 6:25 am, which ends the Fajr period. Next is Dhuhr at 11:50 am, then Asr in the afternoon at 3:36 pm. Maghrib is prayed at 5:15 pm as the light goes, then Isha at 6:45 pm. Sunrise to sunset, today runs about 10 hours and 50 minutes.

A note on the method used

The calculation used here is Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. The disagreement between methods lives almost entirely in Fajr and Isha, where the sun is below the horizon and the chosen angle decides the time. Asr here follows the Hanafi reckoning, which places it noticeably later in the afternoon than the other schools would. If the mosque down the road announces something a few minutes different, pray with the mosque.
