Where these times come from

The underlying method is Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. Methods differ mainly over Fajr and Isha, because each authority settles on a slightly different angle of the sun below the horizon — a few minutes either way is normal. Asr here follows the Hanafi reckoning, which places it noticeably later in the afternoon than the other schools would. Where your local mosque differs, follow the mosque — that is the timetable the congregation keeps.

Shangqiu today, prayer by prayer

Fajr is at 5:08 am — early, and in darkness. The window stays open until sunrise, 6:35 am. Dhuhr 12:01 pm, Asr 3:48 pm — the two that carry the middle of the day. The sun goes down at Maghrib, 5:26 pm, and the day ends with Isha at 6:56 pm. That gives Shangqiu roughly 10 hours and 51 minutes of daylight today.

The last third of the night

Shangqiu gets roughly 10 hours and 12 minutes of night between the last prayer and the first. The final third of the night carries particular weight in the tradition, and it is measured from Isha to Fajr rather than by the clock.
