Season by season in Tangshan

Tangshan sees a large seasonal spread — very early summer Fajr times, a very late Isha, then a tightly packed winter day. The month view below is the reliable way to keep track.

Other China timetables

China has 180 other cities covered on this site. The list under the timetable below will take you to any of them.

Isha to Fajr

Tangshan gets roughly 10 hours and 22 minutes of night between the last prayer and the first. The final third of the night carries particular weight in the tradition, and it is measured from Isha to Fajr rather than by the clock.

Method and madhab

The underlying method is Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. Dhuhr, Asr and Maghrib are largely settled across methods; Fajr and Isha are where authorities part company. Asr is Hanafi on this page, so expect it later than a Shafi timetable would show. A small gap between this page and your nearest masjid is nothing to worry about; go with theirs.

Ramadan timings

Suhoor ends at Fajr — 5:00 am today — and the fast breaks at Maghrib, 5:08 pm. Around 12 hours and 8 minutes without food or water today. Scroll to the month view to see how the length changes as Ramadan progresses.

From Fajr to Isha

Everything begins with Fajr, 5:00 am today. Sunrise at 6:33 am closes that window. Dhuhr 11:51 am, Asr 3:28 pm — the two that carry the middle of the day. Sunset brings Maghrib at 5:08 pm; Isha is the last, at 6:38 pm. That is some 10 hours and 35 minutes between the sun coming up and going down.
