Prayer Times in Zaozhuang, China

Zaozhuang prayer times explained

Today in Zaozhuang, Fajr is at 5:01 am and the day closes with Isha at 6:48 pm. Those times shift by a minute or two most days as the sun moves, and this page recalculates them every morning rather than holding a fixed list.

The calculation behind them

Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah is the standard applied to this page. Dhuhr, Asr and Maghrib are largely settled across methods; Fajr and Isha are where authorities part company. For Asr this page uses the Hanafi position — later in the day than the majority view. A small gap between this page and your nearest masjid is nothing to worry about; go with theirs.

Suhoor and iftar in Zaozhuang

Suhoor ends at Fajr — 5:01 am today — and the fast breaks at Maghrib, 5:18 pm. Around 12 hours and 17 minutes without food or water today. The monthly table further down shows the window widening or narrowing day by day, which helps when planning meals a week ahead.

The direction of prayer

Face west-north-west — roughly 282° on a compass — and you are pointed at the Kaaba. Makkah is around 7,585 kilometres (4,713 miles) away in a straight line. Compass apps usually read magnetic north rather than true north, so allow a few degrees of local declination if you are setting a prayer mat precisely.

A walk through today's times

Everything begins with Fajr, 5:01 am today. You have until 6:28 am, when the sun comes up. Dhuhr follows at 11:53 am once the sun has tipped past its highest point, and Asr at 3:40 pm. Sunset brings Maghrib at 5:18 pm; Isha is the last, at 6:48 pm. That is some 10 hours and 50 minutes between the sun coming up and going down.

What changes between summer and winter

Zaozhuang sits far enough from the equator for the difference to be felt. Midsummer stretches the day, midwinter compresses it, and the prayer times follow.
