Prayer Times in Blankenfelde, Germany

Blankenfelde, hour by hour

From Blankenfelde, the qibla points south-east — a bearing of about 137° on a compass. Makkah lies some 4,117 kilometres away, and the times on this page are calculated for this city specifically rather than for the country as a whole.

Why your mosque may differ slightly

Calculations come from Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. The disagreement between methods lives almost entirely in Fajr and Isha, where the sun is below the horizon and the chosen angle decides the time. For Asr this page uses the Hanafi position — later in the day than the majority view. If the mosque down the road announces something a few minutes different, pray with the mosque.

For tahajjud

Blankenfelde gets roughly 10 hours and 49 minutes of night between the last prayer and the first. The final third of the night carries particular weight in the tradition, and it is measured from Isha to Fajr rather than by the clock.

Season by season in Blankenfelde

There is a caveat to the summer timetable in Blankenfelde. For several weeks around the solstice the sun does not dip deep enough for a true Fajr or Isha, and the calculated values become estimates. Local scholarly guidance takes over in that period.
