Waldniel prays Fajr at 5:27 am today, with Maghrib at 5:14 pm and Isha at 6:44 pm. Those times shift by a minute or two most days as the sun moves, and this page recalculates them every morning rather than holding a fixed list.

Other Germany timetables

There are 36 more Germany cities here, and each has its own times rather than sharing Waldniel's. It is worth switching to the right one when you travel — a few hundred kilometres east or west moves Fajr and Maghrib by a noticeable margin.

Season by season in Waldniel

At this latitude, midsummer creates a real difficulty: the sky never fully darkens, so there is no moment when the sun sits far enough below the horizon to give a clear Fajr or Isha. Communities in places like Waldniel generally follow a local ruling through those weeks — the nearest large mosque or Islamic centre will have guidance. The rest of the year the calculated times work as normal.

Which way to face in Waldniel

The qibla from here runs south-east, a bearing of about 126°. That puts the Kaaba roughly 4,402 km — 2,735 miles — from here.

How the times are worked out

The underlying method is Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. Where two calculations disagree it is nearly always Fajr or Isha: those depend on twilight, and twilight is a judgement call. Asr here follows the Hanafi reckoning, which places it noticeably later in the afternoon than the other schools would. Local practice wins over any website, this one included.

The last third of the night

Waldniel gets roughly 10 hours and 43 minutes of night between the last prayer and the first. If you pray tahajjud, the final third of that stretch is the one to aim for; counting backwards from Fajr is the easier way to locate it.

Fasting hours

The fasting day here runs 5:27 am to 5:14 pm: suhoor closes at the first, iftar comes at the second. Today it works out to some 11 hours and 47 minutes. Scroll to the month view to see how the length changes as Ramadan progresses.
