Prayer Times in Campinas, Brazil

About the times on this page

There are around 12 hours and 56 minutes between sunrise and sunset in Campinas today. That number is the one driving the whole timetable: lengthen the day and Isha moves back, shorten it and the afternoon prayers crowd together.

Campinas today, prayer by prayer

The day's first prayer, Fajr, falls at 4:03 am. You have until 5:24 am, when the sun comes up. After the sun peaks, Dhuhr is prayed at 11:52 am, and Asr at 4:26 pm. The sun goes down at Maghrib, 6:20 pm, and the day ends with Isha at 7:50 pm. That gives Campinas roughly 12 hours and 56 minutes of daylight today.

A note on the method used

Calculations come from Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. Methods differ mainly over Fajr and Isha, because each authority settles on a slightly different angle of the sun below the horizon — a few minutes either way is normal. Asr is Hanafi on this page, so expect it later than a Shafi timetable would show. Where your local mosque differs, follow the mosque — that is the timetable the congregation keeps.

Ramadan timings

Suhoor closes at 4:03 am in Campinas, with iftar at 6:20 pm. Roughly 14 hours and 17 minutes, going by today's figures. The monthly table further down shows the window widening or narrowing day by day, which helps when planning meals a week ahead.

Finding the qibla

From this city the direction is east-north-east, or 69° if you prefer the number. That puts the Kaaba roughly 10,617 km — 6,597 miles — from here. Worth remembering that a phone compass points to magnetic north, which can sit several degrees off true north depending on where you are.

How much the times move

The seasons show here without dominating. Summer in Campinas brings earlier Fajr times and a later Isha; winter pulls everything inward, and Maghrib can arrive while the afternoon still feels unfinished. Expect an hour or two of movement between the extremes.
