Waimalu prayer times explained

Fasting hours

Suhoor closes at 5:16 am in Waimalu, with iftar at 5:57 pm. Roughly 12 hours and 41 minutes, going by today's figures. The full month is listed below if you want to see where the fast is heading.

A note on the method used

Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah is the standard applied to this page. Methods differ mainly over Fajr and Isha, because each authority settles on a slightly different angle of the sun below the horizon — a few minutes either way is normal. For Asr this page uses the Hanafi position — later in the day than the majority view. Where your local mosque differs, follow the mosque — that is the timetable the congregation keeps.

Today's timetable

The day's first prayer, Fajr, falls at 5:16 am. The window stays open until sunrise, 6:34 am. After the sun peaks, Dhuhr is prayed at 12:15 pm, and Asr at 4:21 pm. The sun goes down at Maghrib, 5:57 pm, and the day ends with Isha at 7:27 pm. That gives Waimalu roughly 11 hours and 23 minutes of daylight today.

Isha to Fajr

Waimalu gets roughly 9 hours and 49 minutes of night between the last prayer and the first. If you pray tahajjud, the final third of that stretch is the one to aim for; counting backwards from Fajr is the easier way to locate it.

Season by season in Waimalu

The seasons show here without dominating. Summer in Waimalu brings earlier Fajr times and a later Isha; winter pulls everything inward, and Maghrib can arrive while the afternoon still feels unfinished. Expect an hour or two of movement between the extremes.
